If they had a kit to build Thomas and friends from Legos, that would be borderline rapture for a lot of them! We were just about to punt the idea of a birthday party anywhere but home because of his extreme dislike of chaotic, crowded, and noisy places. (Chuck E Cheese would freak me out too if I was in his shoes. It about did anyway.) Maybe the Lego Store is a possibility yet! There's one here in the Seattle area, and my DH knows very well every time we are at the mall that we're going to the Lego store. Very rarely do I come out of there empty-handed (as evidenced by the spiffy Lego Space Needle currently on my desk). They have a kids club where they make little seasonal Legos once a month and give them to the kids to keep. I'm just miffed that there's an age limit on it. I love Lego stores.
