Should I make the sign of the cross? The sign of the tequila shot? Both?

We’re expecting to get as far as them looking in his mouth before he completely goes berserk – if we’re lucky. If he goes bat crazy at haircuts, God help us at the dentist.

We’re also expecting, “You’ll need to make another appointment and we’ll need to sedate him in order to clean his teeth. By the way, that will cost [insert checking account balance here].”

@magicdrgn – Things went better today. The weather was abysmal, so we just stayed inside and played most of the day. It was low-key and that helped us regroup some. Usually we get over the horrible days fairly quickly. I think it’s either that or lose sanity. I had some quality time with our “home school/therapy room construction advisor” so I worked on the room a lot today too. Still more to do, though.

Thanks for the encouragement. This morning I was thinking, 1) This too shall pass.. like a kidney stone; and 2) as someone once told me, if life gives you lemons, switch to limes and make margaritas.

It got better. We all have bad patches. It just goes with the territory.
